366 Days Challenge - Day 10

_{Kinda wish I had the courage,
A bit of bravery.
So tired of waiting on a man to come and save me.
Wishing I had everything,
Or something really.
I do admit it,
But now I'm thinking freely.

9 hours at work, starting at 9 am + 3 hours working on an "application" for a possible story commission where I can gain some much-needed exposure for my writing = A very tired mind.

<sub>Life is not about the breaths you take,
The number of times your heart pounds,
The amount of money you have,
Or the number of people you know.

Numbers do not live.
They are only figures
On which we force ourselves to dwell.

That is what
We must remember:
Dwelling does nothing to change
What is...

We do, however,
Happen to have the power to change
What will be.

All we need
Is some faith in ourselves,
In our abilities to change our lives
Into lives worth living.

We must see what to do, what we can change.
Plot the course to success
And run, right to a happy ending.</sub>
